Magical Children's Portraits with a Child Aerial Arts & Circus Performer
Featuring the "BEST OF" the Rowan Tree Photography shoot archives: Back to 2014, and that one time (with the help of my husband) I built a prop swing for our then-backyard! I had posted photos of my daughter on the swing (not these) which led to being contacted by friends from the past about this shoot with Elsie - who was actually in a legit circus performing arts school in the Twin Cities.
My dream come true to do such a magical shoot like this with a real aerial artist! Elsie was able to use the swing to demonstrate some aerial skills (though she was far more skilled than a prop swing allowed her to fully show). Combined with beautiful costumes, this shoot was artistic, creative, and showcased the ethereal quality of the performer. In addition, some traditional children's portraits were done in a beautifully-lit setting and gorgeous dresses.
