This is year #7 of Halloween photo shoots for our family! It started with the kids as The Wizard of Oz characters in 2013, when our youngest was not quite one-year-old. Now it has become a family tradition that adds a little magic to life. This year, Snow White took us about 3 hours to shoot, mostly due to the dwarfs needing to be set up multiple times. It was pretty cold the day we shot it, but everyone kept a great attitude, and we’re so excited about the final result.

First, here’s a look back at our shoots from the previous 6 years…

2013 – The Wizard of Oz
2014 – Peter Pan
2015 – Star Wars
2016 – Toy Story
2017 – Alice in Wonderland
2018 – Ghostbusters

AND NOW…a look behind the scenes at the making of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”

Declan getting makeup for Doc
Finn starting to get dressed as The Witch
Rowan prepping to be Snow White
My husband Ryan applying character makeup.
We were both theatre majors in college, and we’re actually trained in this!

And after 3 hours of this…they are OVER it!
Making amazing family memories
